Bring the family on Race Day to help cheer, enjoy the children’s tent, and win a cake in the cakewalk.

“Race on the River” is a one-and-a-half-day festival.  Friday night will start with the ceremonial Awakening of the Dragon followed a little later with an old fashioned NS kitchen party at the outdoor theatre of Glasgow Square.

Location:  The Riverfront in New Glasgow provides the perfect setting for this event.  Just one block from the quaint downtown area, all races will take place on the tranquil East River.  Spectators can enjoy the views from the George Street Bridge or the popular riverside walking path, the Samson Trail.  Daylong activities will entertain spectators and participants all along the Riverfront.
